Didn’t Mama always say that if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything…?
Okay. Instead, I’ll skate around it with forced gratitude.
Even though the pharmacy doesn’t have his pain meds, I’m grateful that they are at least “working on it.”
Even though I didn’t get to touch it, I’m grateful that I saw the ocean today.
Even though I could barely hold my eyes open during our two hour, traffic nightmare of a drive home, I’m grateful that we made it home safe.
Even though Nick is miserable, I’m grateful that he’s still here.
Even though I’m grumpy and exhausted, I’m grateful that I can still tap into the love in my heart.
Even though life sent us on a major detour, I’m grateful that we are triumphantly braving our own path.
Nick and Linds, I am inspired to add my own bit of gratitude. I am grateful that even though I work over 90 hours a week on deployment, literally half a world away from my husband, I have a job! I work hard for a purpose. I am happy to serve selflessly. I love you both so much. 🙂
My gratitude… Even thought my daughter lives in LA
now she has wonderful friends near by that are a inspiration to all of us. Love you guys!
Awww Shannon! Thank YOU so much for your selfless service and for your continued love and support of us. Yes, be grateful for having a job… an awesome job! xoxox Love you too honey!
