Nick was feeling SO much better today! He was more like himself, with a lot less pain. When I got to his room this morning, he was sleeping on his side. We were able to rotate him several times throughout the day. There was talk of sitting up today, but Nick thought it would be better to wait one more day. He is no longer in excruciating pain, and doesn’t want to be either. The bottom edge of his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle back brace is right where his new incision is. So to prevent the brace from digging in, they ordered him a brand new one. Now Nick has three braces, and only one back. A sexy new brace for every occasion, with matching accessories and man purse.
