Taking a quick break from packing up to go to the hospital tomorrow. Everything we’ve been doing these past few weeks has been to prepare for this surgery tomorrow. Such a huge build up. I know it will be anti-climatic. By that, I mean that surgery will be a breeze. They’ll cut him open, close him up, watch him a few days, send him home and BAM!!! On with our lives. It’s totally going to be that simple.
Today he was interviewed and photographed for an upcoming article in ‘The Californian’ newspaper. One of their staff writers, Jim, happened upon my blog by accident. He contacted us asking to do an article. And, of course we said YES! So he came over this afternoon to do the interview. What a nice guy. I like his way. He says he strives to do at least one nice thing for someone everyday. I wish everyone lived like that. I think the story will be out in one of the papers next week. He will be letting us know.
