Uhhhhhhh, I’ll explain this picture in a moment.
But first I am making a request. Nick’s a seriously lucky dude to have a second chance at life. His injuries are usually not survivable. This means that we all get another opportunity to laugh and reminisce about the awesome times we’ve shared with him. We get to share those favorite memories of him, WITH him.
We have been reading all of the super awesome messages of love and support. Some of your messages have gotten us emotional, some have made us laugh, others have inspired us to be better people, and they have ALL given us motivation to keep pushing harder each day.
Now I’m asking for you to write messages, to Nick, reminiscing about some of your favorite memories together. Make him laugh, make him cry, try to embarrass him, whatever. But make him remember all those precious moments you’ve shared together. After all, his memory sucks anyway!

Personally, I have too many favorites, but when I ran across this picture, I couldn’t help but share this particular moment.
This picture was taken at a frozen yogurt shop earlier this year. Nick paid that 18 year old (super buff) kid to take off his shirt and take a picture with me and my girlfriends. Just for the story. And here Nick is, with best bud Paul, in all of their obvious hetero glory, hugging a barely legal, shirtless yogurt dude for ten bucks.
